2 months big

Bracken turned 2 months on the 7th.  Some days it's seriously hard for me to believe it's already been 2 months.  But it has and he has grown so much.  He is such a big boy.  At his 2 month well check up this morning the nurse told him that she bets his mom isn't ready for him to be so big already.  Isn't that the truth!

Most moms know that 2 month appointment means first shots!  Eek!  Now this little guy is all about the comfort.  He likes soft beds, super warm showers, warm blankets, cuddling etc.  So when today rolled around and I thought of those needles going into his little legs I knew he'd have a really hard time.  He cried a bit with the oral vaccine but then realized it was something to eat and was fine but the moment that first needle touched his leg he was crying so hard.  It broke my heart!  My poor little guy!  He's out like a light right now and hopefully when he wakes up he will be ok.

My baby is such a big boy!  In all the pictures above he is wearing 3-6 month clothes!  I love my big boy!

Notable accomplishments/events from this past month:

-Sleeping for bigger stretches through the night
-Had his first major blowout that took like 50 wipes to clean up
-Started sucking on his hands
-Went to the Museum of Natural History
-Went to his first movie in the theater(Brave)
-Smiling!  He is either smiling at everyone and everything or he's fussing.  His smiles are seriously the best!
-Learning to use his pacifier better though he's still not very into it
-Every day he wiggles his way deeper into our hearts.  We just adore this boy!

*Audree had her 4 year appointment today but I will do another post about her after her birthday on Sunday!!!
