Audree had her 12 month appointment today. This appointment was by far the worst we've ever had. Right when we got in they had to prick her toe so they could check if she had anemia...so of course she cried and cried and cried the whole time we were waiting for the doctor to come in. She finally settled down but and then the doctor had to do the usual check up and Audree got hysterical while he was doing it. The doctor said that at this age most kids don't like him but Audree was wailing...The whole rest of the time the doctor was talking with us and telling us what to do and asking questions Audree wouldn't calm down. Doctor left and Audree did better but then the nurse came back in to do Audree's shots and Audree screamed and screamed and screamed. Audree is doing a lot better now thank goodness but it was a rough appointment. We gave her ice cream for making it through her appointment and really because we felt so bad for her and sugar is yummy :)
Here are Audree's 12 month stats:
Audree still has a big head coming in at a whopping 18.5 inches(93%)
Audree's still our little chubbers coming in at 23.5 lbs(85%)
And amazingly enough a daughter of mine is not a midget :) She is now 29.5 inches tall(65%)

hehehe, just kidding, i don't know for sure. i do know that i have a big head, so yay audree!!
Oh, I'm so sorry. It's always rough taking them to the doctor. I'll bet the ice cream made it all better...always does. :) Looks like Audree is a growing girl...and not to mention SUPER CUTE!!!
