After we all got ready we(Audree and mommy and daddy) headed to the Provo Towne Center and caught the 10:30 showing of Toy Story 3. We thought it was cute but Audree was way too concerned with going up and down the stairs and wandering all over the theatre to care much about the movie...oh well. After the movie we took her to McDonalds to get a happy meal(special occasion warrants a happy meal I think :)).
When we got home we packed up Arya and headed to Salt Lake to tour the Sweets quality candies factory. Audree probably could have cared less about the tour but she was thrilled with all the free candy she got and then the salt water taffy we purchased afterwards. Good stuff!
After the tour we headed to the zoo. It was an incredibly hot day but we had fun all the same. A lot of the animals were just vegging because it was so hot so Audree had a hard time seeing some of them. I think she probably liked the ostrich the most mainly because it was only like 2 feet away from her and moving around and stuff. The bears weren't there which Audree was disappointed about but oh well. I think she enjoyed the monkey's a lot too, there are plenty at the zoo and a lot of them were visible.
Arya was a good sport too. It was hot but she bore it well. She only got fussy near the end.
We tried to get Audree to stand up to the gorilla and she flipped when we brought her over there(terrible two's...it's the only explanation) and as soon as she saw Mark stand up to it she just had to get in on the action too.
When she was finally able to spot the elephant she had fun watching it.
After the zoo we stopped by Mark's parents to rehydrate and rest so we didn't have to deal with rush hour traffic. We were all pretty burnt out from our busy yet fun day.

That was a fun-packed day. Audree was adorable on the merry-go-round. I asked her what animal she wanted to ride and the only one she repeated was 'elephant', so we took that one. She threw a fit when we had to get off and didn't go again.
Audree is such a doll!
