Birthday fun

We started off our fun day by going to Pirate Island. Not necessarily my choice for Arya but we decided to knock off Mark and Arya's birthday dinner/lunches at the same time. As it turns out Arya enjoyed it. She loved her mac and cheese and walked around the arcade/play area for a while getting excited at all the lights and colors. I remembered to bring the camera this time, which i never do, and of course the batteries had to be dead. So these pics are poor quality cuz they were taken with my phone.

After Pirate Island we went to build a bear. Arya picked out her bear and held the limp form very close until it was stuffed...sadly after it was stuffed she doesn't seem to fancy it quite as much anymore...go figure

This was after the cupcakes and presents but I thought I'd group it with the other build a bear pictures. Arya is so silly, she absolutely did not want to sit still for this picture. We took it right after we opened her big present(see pics below) and all she wanted to do was get over there and keep playing with it.

It was a pretty fun birthday for Arya. She was a little grumpy because she missed out on her naps from all the excitement but oh well. I thought the day may turn out to be a bad one b/c Mark had to work(he's been working non-stop for the past 5 days and the girls have barely seen him) and then Arya did a flip down the last few stairs and bonked her head. But she recovered quickly, Mark took a couple hours for lunch to come play with us and then he was able to get off at a normal time.

This morning for Easter the Easter Bunny brought the girls a couple Disney Princess dolls, a new outfit and some candy. Next up, Mark's birthday on Wednesday!
